QR for appApple just approved the Uppity Wisconsin App for Iphone and Ipad.  Through the end of 2011, the app is free on both platforms.  Download it to your phone now, and get Uppity Wisconsin goodness wherever you go.  Let us know what you think of the Apple version of the app, where you can read Uppity Wisconsin, see our photo gallery, read Twitter from progressive bloggers around the state, and share pictures with others on the Uppity Wisconsin Facebook page.

Uppity Fund -- It's BAAAACCKKK

We've revived the Uppity Fund for the rest of 2011-2012.  Now that the recalls are over, there's still plenty of opportunity to support Uppity Legislators.  We've set up a great roster of progressive legislators in the fund this year, and have also included one very vislble candidate from Massachussetts, who you can support right here.

All of the money goes through Act Blue, and will go right to the chosen candidates, giving you and Uppity Wisconsin credit for raising the money (note -- we don't get any cash out of this).  Go support your favorite candidates by clicking on the ActBlue thermometer.  Help get Wisconsin back to normal.

Live from New York - It's Occupy Wall St.

A lot is going on at the Wall St. occupation at the moment.  Several major unions have announced that they will support the protesters, and have been starting to show up in support. Last night the Transportation Workers announced that they will be supporting the action on Wall St.  This is the Livestream feed from Wall St. and other occupation actions.  If you have a chance, consider giving them some money to continue this live coverage.
