Earlier today, my mom received one of the more scurrilous emails about Barack Obama that I have seen.  In exasperation she sent it to me.  I think she hoped I might whip up a reply that she could send back, but impulsive son that I am, I instead responded directly.  I fear I may have cost dear old Ma a friend:

You don't know me, but I understand that you are an associate of my mother.  Recently you forwarded an email to her concerning Sen. Barack Obama, which she then forwarded on to me.  As you might guess if you continue reading, my mother is a much nicer person than me, and she wouldn't respond to the stupid filth you sent her in the same manner that I will.  I've also taken the liberty of sending my own reply off to everyone else you forwarded the original crap to, in the hopes that my concerns about this trash might be sent on throughout the ether in the same way the complete lies you've helped spread have been.
