Ivan Holmes’ Vote Will Go To Obama
Ivan Joined Jay tonight getting behind the nominee. That leaves Jim Frasier and Congressman Boren undecided. Expect them to announce their commitment later.
Oklahoma superdelegate endorses Obama

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Oklahoma Democratic Party chairman and uncommitted superdelegate Ivan Holmes will endorse Barack Obama on Tuesday evening, CNN has learned.
Holmes, who has led the state party since 2007, initially supported John Edwards and said he has remained neutral throughout the nomination process because Hillary Clinton won the Oklahoma primary on Super Tuesday.
It’s Official Parmley Endorses Obama

Parmley Statement on the 2008 Presidential Nomination
“The race for the 2008 Democratic Presidential nomination has been historic. We have had two superbly qualified candidates, unprecedented numbers of newly registered voters and across the board near-record to record turnouts in primaries and caucuses. As an automatic delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention, it was always my hope that Democratic voters across America whose votes determine the proportional make up of the pledged delegates to the DNC Convention would select the nominee of our Party. I believe they have done so, even if by the narrowest of margins.
Oklahoma’s Uncommitted

Well the last primaries are today. Sources tell DemoOkie.com that you can expect to see the announcements from Oklahoma’s remaining super delegates. I talked to one of the super delegates last night and he thought he would probably announce Wednesday, after all of the votes were cast.
The remaining super delegates are
- Ivan Holmes, Chairman
- Jim Frasier, National Committee Man
- Dan Boren (pictured above) CD2 Congressman
- Jay Parmley, DNC Member
Hillary is very popular here in Oklahoma. Many Hillary supporters are very upset. Don’t be surprised if the remaining super delegates split their vote in half. We will keep you advised.
It’s Not Over Tuesday, It’s the Beginning

Here in Oklahoma, I learned there are some staunch Hillary supporters. I help Calvin Rees run our main board DemoOkie.com by administering the website and mailing out our newsletters. That means I get the hate mail. Usually our hate mail comes from Republicans, but lately we have been getting a lot of bitter e-mails from Clinton supporters.
Some of the e-mails authors threatened to vote for McCain. I think most of that was just anger venting, but let’s not ignore it. This was a hard fought campaign. I have to tell you that Clinton’s tenacity won my respect. I didn’t vote for her, heck I was a Bill Richardson supporter, but after the Oklahoma Primary, I joined Team Obama.
