Final Post: I’m Back in Nashville

I have finally returned home from the 2008 Democratic National Convention.  There was much speculation in the media, and among many private citizens, over what would happen at this year’s convention.  I think it is safe to say that we far exceeded everyone’s expectations for success.  I do need to tell you little more about my final day at the DNC before I turn to more general reflections.

Women Democrats of the Senate "Checklist for Change"

In an impressive display Tuesday most of the Democratic women of the United States Senate presented their "Checklist for Change" and a special reminder "In the Senate, 60 is the new 50!

Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland,  Equal Pay for Equal Work

Senator Barbara Boxer of California, Fight Global Warming

Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana,  A FEMA that Works
