Warner: Obama's Virginia Challenges Similar to My First Run

Mark Warner had a few words for the Virginia Delegation this morning over Breakfast, between sips of coffee and rousing applause.  Of course the Delegation sees Warner as both their greatest hero and their favorite son, so the jokes were all received with a mixture of familiar joy and sincere adoration.

The City and County of Denver, in partnership with ReDirect Guide, has announced the Green Frontier Fest, scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 24 on the eve of the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Green Frontier Fest, a celebration of everyday positive choices that individuals, families and organizations can make now to address global challenges, will feature a full spectrum of sustainable options from cutting-edge renewable technologies to solutions that can be implemented in the home.

Held outdoor at Sculpture Park of the Denver Performing Arts Complex Park, the Green Frontier Fest invites residents and visitors to enjoy, among other activities, interactive and educational exhibits, a farmers market of local and organic produce, a children's area, eco-carnival games, music, entertainment and special presentations by Van Jones and other guest speakers.
